You have traditions in your family. Some are significant like how you celebrate the holidays or when heirlooms are passed down to younger family members. If this trend keeps up, there may be no daytime soap operas left in ten years.

Days Of Our Lives has a been on NBC for a very long time and continues to go strong today, but there are rumors that it may one day be off of the air. This would mean that NBC has complete abandoned the daytime soap format for more news or other types of shows. This is just a rumor, but there is always some truth behind rumors. Days has a huge audience in age range, as teens to older women watch it. Some men stay up with Days as well. That may not be enough to keep in on the air, however, as it seems soaps are not as popular as they once were.

For now, there are still some great daytime soap operas on television if you love watching them and if it is something you have always done in your family.
